Dining at Sampson Barton
Our Menus are ever-changing and always offer plenty to delight you; Devon's finest beef and lamb, fresh fish and seafood from our coasts and fresh seasonal vegetables to accompany your meal.
We know that fine food starts with fine ingredients, so we aim to offer only the best
All our produce is locally sourced using the best butchers by far, Shapland & Searle and Heal Farm ensure that quality is second to none and Dan is the man when it comes to fresh fish.
We use home produce as much as possible to ensure the best quality and to reduce 'food miles'. Our delicious cakes, traditional Devon scones, bread, soups, sauces and accompaniments are produced in our kitchen
Our menus are changed daily and kept up to date with the changing seasons. We ask that all menu choices be made before arrival to ensure availability. Sampson Barton is ideal if you are looking for somewhere a little different; the rural, peaceful surroundings provide a relaxing setting away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Relax with Pre-dinner drinks from our honesty bar served in the oak beamed lounge with huge inglenook and roaring log fire in winter months.
Our wines are carefully chosen to compliment our menus after in-depth consultation with local wine merchants at Bray Valley Wines
